OFF COURT OPS – UNIFORM HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Hire Fees and Bond
A hire fee and refundable bond must be paid in full prior to collection or delivery of uniforms.
The bond is held as security against loss, non-return, unauthorised modification, or damage beyond normal wear and tear.
The bond will be refunded within 14 days of uniforms being returned, inspected, and confirmed to meet the conditions outlined in this agreement.
2. Inspection Upon Receipt
The Hirer must inspect all uniforms upon collection or receipt.
Any existing damage, stains, marks, missing items, incorrect sizes, or other concerns must be reported to Off Court Ops in writing within three (3) days of collection.
If no issues are reported within three (3) days, all uniforms will be deemed to have been received in good condition and complete order.
The Hirer may be held responsible for any loss or damage identified upon return that was not reported within the inspection period.
3. Care of Uniforms
The Hirer agrees to take reasonable care of all uniforms during the hire period.
Uniforms must be kept clean and used only for their intended sporting purpose.
Normal wear and tear is accepted and does not include deliberate damage, burns, excessive staining, tearing, or misuse.
4. Alterations and Modifications
Uniforms must not be altered, modified, cut, hemmed, sewn, heat pressed, printed on, written on, or otherwise changed in any way without prior written approval from Off Court Ops.
This includes the addition of player names, sponsor logos, vinyl transfers, patches, numbering, or other permanent markings.
Any unauthorised modification to a uniform may result in forfeiture of the bond and replacement charges where the uniform is no longer suitable for hire.
5. Lost, Missing or Damaged Uniforms
The Hirer is responsible for all uniforms supplied during the hire period.
Missing or unreturned uniforms will incur a replacement charge as outlined in the hire agreement.
Uniforms that are damaged beyond normal wear and tear may incur a replacement charge.
Replacement charges will be deducted from the bond. Where replacement costs exceed the bond held, the Hirer agrees to pay the outstanding amount within 14 days of receiving an invoice.
6. Return of Uniforms
Uniforms must be returned by the agreed return date.
Uniforms must be returned clean, dry, and free from personal belongings.
Late returns may incur additional hire charges.
7. Condition Assessment
All uniforms will be inspected upon return.
Off Court Ops reserves the right to determine whether damage constitutes normal wear and tear or requires repair or replacement.
Photographs and inventory records may be used to verify the condition and quantity of uniforms supplied and returned.
8. Bond Refunds
Where all uniforms are returned on time and in acceptable condition, the bond will be refunded to the Hirer.
Any approved deductions will be itemised and communicated prior to refund.
9. Liability
Off Court Ops accepts no responsibility for injury, loss, theft, or damage arising from the use of hired uniforms.
The Hirer assumes responsibility for all participants using the uniforms during the hire period.
10. Acceptance
Payment of the hire fee and bond constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
